Job Description:
Location: Prefer San Jose, CA, open to Teleworker US
Job Family Definition:
Manages the contracting process for sales transactions by responding to requests for proposals (RFPs) and contractual requests with company standard templates where possible. Interfaces with customers and legal, finance/revenue recognition, business unit, sales, and other stakeholder teams to close business or to develop templates or program requirements. Confirms approvals and signatures and prepares data for system entry and agreement archiving. Manages financial reporting requirements (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley) and audit compliance at the deal or program level. Interfaces with outsourcing partners and off- shoring entities and workflows. Researches existing agreements and programs for customer reporting and internal requirements and assists in resolving post- contract modification requests, inquiries, and data management.

Responsibilities:
- Structures, develops, and manages high-impact company/customer purchase agreements, including renewals and amendments, and guides personnel in standard template selection.
- Drives research efforts on existing agreements and reviews highly complex, non-standard agreements for compliance, performance, issue resolution and trends for the organization.
- Serves as primary company point of contact with senior customers, legal, finance/revenue recognition, business unit, sales, and other stakeholder teams for post award issues and agreement interpretation.
- Leads functional guidance to customers and internal organizations for contracts, programs and systems and pricing- related activities.
- Collects input from system stakeholders and creates Business Requirements Documents in conjunction with IT Plan of Record activities.
- Leads efforts to document and monitor workflow for compliance with financial reporting and audit requirements across the Contracts Administration function.
- Oversees the review of exception purchase orders and drives resolution of non-standard terms, including 3rd party assignments and acceptance criteria.
- Leads contracts-related projects, including new product introductions, program and process implementation, and/or systems for multiple businesses or geographies
- Organizes and monitors off-shore and outsource partner workflows.
- Leads efforts to train Contracts organization on new processes and procedures.
- Serves as subject matter expert for template structures and new program agreement development
Education and Experience Required:
- First level university degree.
- Advanced university degree or professional certification preferred.
- Typically 10+ years contracts or legal client-facing experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Mastery level knowledge of deal contract structures and related tools, systems, and processes.
- Advanced competency with internal and external systems tools and web applications.
- Strong understanding of business
