Equestrian Facility Maintenance

The Maintenance associate is responsible for the upkeep, repair, maintenance and janitorial responsibilities of the Flagship Campus Equestrian Facility

The Maintenance associate works to ensure the Equestrian Facility, building and grounds are neat, clean and uphold the organizations standards while adhering to all safety measures. The Maintenance associates accomplish this through:

• Performs minor semi-skilled interior building maintenance installations and repairs
• Assists with the troubleshooting and fixing of faulty electrical devices
• Prepares classrooms/conference rooms for special events / meeting
• Performs various cleaning and maintenance activities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs minor semi-skilled interior building maintenance installations and repairs
• Responsible for minor and routine painting, plaster or drywall repairs, fix or paint, doors, walls, and other parts of building structures
• Maintains building by performing minor plumbing, and other related maintenance activities.
• Inspects the physical condition of buildings to ensure no deterioration
• Makes recommendations regarding necessary equipment upgrades or replacements Assists with the troubleshooting and fixing of faulty electrical devices
• Repairs the common air-conditioning and heating and ventilation system
• Notifies Campus President concerning the need for major electrical repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment. Prepares classrooms/ conference room for special events
• Prepares meeting rooms for special events and breaks down room at the conclusion of the events
• Setup and dismantles material for special event including all phases of board /picture hanging, object mounting and installation per Campus President Performs various cleaning and maintenance activities
• Responsible for sweeping and mopping surfaces, vacuuming carpeted areas, emptying trash and cleaning bathrooms, as requested
• Supervises contract maintenance or repair services
