People Operations Coordinator

About the Team

GOAT Group is looking for a People Operations Coordinator who will provide a broad range of support to the People Team. We are seeking a dynamic individual who brings exceptional customer service, enthusiasm and a passion for excellence to our team. This role requires someone with a deep commitment to HR best practices and compliance, coupled with an ability to balance big-picture thinking with meticulous attention to detail. 

The ideal candidate thrives on challenges and has a talent for connecting the dots, understanding how decisions impact processes both upstream and downstream. They will play a crucial role in shaping our initiatives and adapting as the company grows. 

This is a fully-remote role with preference for this person to work in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central timezones. 

In this role, you will: 

• Serve as primary point of contact to drive a seamless and positive employee experience
• Execute operational tasks in support of the full employee life cycle (pre-boarding to post-termination) 
• Conduct new hire onboarding and training sessions 
• Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance with employee data and files in HR systems
• Partner with internal stakeholders on matters related to onboarding, employee changes, terminations, etc.
• Collect and appropriately distribute mail that is sent to our corporate office 
• Respond to unemployment claims in a timely manner 
• Support compliance related tasks such as ordering compliance posters 
• Support project work and other duties for ad-hoc team initiatives 
• All other duties as assigned 

We are looking for: 

• Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of prior HR or related experience is highly desired 
• Ability to use sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner 
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment with the ability to understand process flows and impact 
• Excellent written, verbal and visual communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as keen attention to detail 
• Ability to manage concurrent and competing priorities in a complex, high pressure and fast paced environment
• Experience with MS Office, Excel, Google Sheets, and Google docs is highly desired 
• Experience with entering transactions into people technology systems is highly desired
• Experience with local and federal employment laws is highly desired

The hiring range for this position is below, plus benefits (401K, paid time off, dental, medical, vision, disability, life insurance options). To determine starting pay within the hiring range, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, role/level, a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity.
