SCOPE:
Through the years and continuing through today, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America Corrugating Machinery Division (CMD) serves the growing, dynamic packaging industry with leading edge equipment systems, sales, parts, technical and field support, making it one of the most respected suppliers to converters in North and Central America.
The Parts Coordinator is responsible for responding to customer inquiries regarding replacement parts, providing accurate quotations, and coordinating the sale process from inquiry to delivery for MHIA’s Corrugating Machinery Division (CMD). This role requires effective communication with customers to ensure a smooth and timely transaction.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries related to replacement parts for their corrugated equipment, ensuring clear and professional communication.
- Research parts manuals and parts databases to identify required parts, check stock availability in the inventory database, and inform customers of pricing and availability.
- Enter customer orders into the system, ensuring accuracy and consistency with customer requests.
- Access and manage customer data through CRM software, handling open orders and updating account details as needed.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department to verify parts availability from vendors and with the warehouse to confirm the status of outbound shipments.
- Address and resolve any customer concerns throughout the sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Education Requirement: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role
- Any special skills/training/certifications:
- Sales or data entry experience
- Proficiency in MS Office
