Why do we have this role in the organization and why do we need to hire someone in this role: 

 

The Scrum master is responsible for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching the team in Agile principles, removing impediments, shielding the team from distractions, and fostering continuous improvement to ensure effective delivery, acting as a servant leader focused on process rather than people management. This role is required for a set of low-code and high-code/full code apps that enable service engineers to perform on-site inspections, access knowledge, and interact with different platforms. The solution is a multi-integration point system that communicates with ERPs, data lakes, SQL servers, native apps.

 

What will you be expected to do to reach success & optimal performance?

 

• Facilitate scrum events: Lead and keep daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives focused and productive.
• Remove impediments: Identify and resolve roadblocks, dependencies, or external pressures hindering the team's progress.
• Coach self-management: Guide the team towards greater self-organization and cross-functionality
• Protect focus: Shield the team from outside distractions and interruptions
• Support Backlog Management: Assist in techniques for effective Product Backlog management.
• Communicate Vision: Help communicate the Product Owner's vision and goals to the team
• Promote Scrum Adoption: Help the wider organization understand and implement Scrum
• Drive Improvement: Foster a culture of learning and adaptation through continuous process assessment
• Liaise: Act as a bridge between the Scrum team and stakeholders outside the team
• Servant Leadership: Serve the team by enabling their success, not by managing them
• Agile Values: Ensure adherence to Agile principles and values
• Track and monitor sprint readiness and progress. Use key metrics like burn-down charts, velocity, completed versus planned etc
• Report sprint status and results
• Keep the team organized, on track, and focused on what matters. Ensure minimal to no deviations from the plan

What will make you successful now:

 

Education :

• BSc, or MSc in Computer Science or other relevant field.

Language skills : 

• Business English B2 or above
