You'll drive retail store excellence and leading the store team to strengthen the Nike retail brand.</p><p></p><p>WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?</p><p>The responsibility of this role is to deliver the EMEA Nike Direct vision &amp; strategy in coordination with your Director of Retail Stores, developing a digitally enabled store in the path of the consumer, growing engagement, and purchase frequency of our members to drive growth in physical and digital. This candidate will bring the membership offense to life in our store and through our store athletes. Lead, encourage and develop diverse store team through culture of belonging in a safe environment. Drive efficiency &amp; profitability aligned with strategic goals leading through Nike Direct and functional excellence whilst delivering a premium consumer experience. Coordinate resources to ensure customer satisfaction, efficiency, profitability, and growth. Influence product assortment and commercial calendar for the store, whilst handling financial budget. Partner with the Director of Retail Stores, by providing relevant insights on retail performance, relevant market information and opportunities &amp; challenges to drive business results.</p><p>To be successful, display strategic vision, digital transformation skills as well operational excellence. Show leadership capabilities and experience across a variety of retail teams, including project management, retail management, store environment and groundbreaking change.</p><p>The candidate needs to have very strong people leadership experience in leading, encouraging and advising teams, and leading through others to deliver business results. Also, an understanding &amp; experience of retail business levers – operations, omni-channel services, visual merchandising and leading physical retail stores and assets in combination with digital services. Along with the understanding of consumer/member engagement drivers and how to demonstrate those to drive growth in an omni-channel retail environment. Ability to deliver retail operational excellence and digital transformation across with passion and strive to bring EMEA wide membership initiatives into this program. Finally, a strong ability to form relationships with cross functional teams in EHQ and the League to transform the way we operate and deliver results!</p><p></p><p>WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?</p><ul><li>Review, prepare &amp; support implementing weekly store performance based on results and take appropriate action plans according to Nike Direct EMEA strategy (staffing, assortment, consumer journeys, digital results &amp; store environment)</li><li>Ensure the services and consumer O2O journey are delivered against digital expectations</li><li>Support your Store team in all questions of trade &amp; business, leadership, digital transformation, HR and all operational topics</li><li>Partner with relevant collaborators at Nike Stores team across Real Estate, Construction, Operations, CDM, DSM and Digital Teams Partner Management</li><li></li></ul><p>WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?</p><p>Partnering with the Senior Field Leadership team, Value &amp; Inline Store Senior Leadership, EMEA Concept team and functional leadership in Design, Real Estate, Construction, DSM, CDM and Digital teams. You directly report to the Retail Stores Director.</p><p></p><p></p><p>WHAT WILL YOU BRING?</p><ul><li>Proven Senior Retail Leadership Expertise - either through leading project implementation or single retail site leadership of a large-scale single retail store with high complexity and volume.</li><li>Outstanding experience in managing and inspiring a team (leadership development, employee relations, loss prevention, sickness and overtime, engagement and creating a team spirit) in the marketplace</li><li>Experience with implementing a digital strategy into a physical store and exhibiting a digital leadership approach and attitude (engaging new members, getting customers to download app and link in store transactions, integrating digital processes into the store setting)</li><li>Critical Thinking: Demonstrated success of leading and delivering pivotal initiatives aligned to future marketplace development</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English</li></ul><p></p>
