This role involves working across diverse tax areas, providing exposure to multiple jurisdictions and tax matters. You will collaborate with the Head of Tax, applying your expertise to ensure compliance and drive efficiencies in our operations.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop, refine, and manage global tax policies, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks across jurisdictions, including overseeing tax return preparation and review.</li><li>Optimize tax processes for period-end closings to enhance efficiency and accuracy.</li><li>Support VAT/GST projects with external advisors, ensuring compliance and consistency across European and global operations.</li><li>Oversee and maintain the global transfer pricing system, ensuring documentation and compliance across all entities.</li><li>Support business operations from a tax perspective, including new product launches and ERP (Workday) maintenance for accurate system integration and functionality.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Extensive experience in German corporate taxation and knowledge of international tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.</li><li>Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken) is essential for effective communication and collaboration.</li><li>Strong ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.</li><li>Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and external advisors.</li><li>Hands-on and adaptable, with initiative to manage a variety of tasks and navigate ambiguity confidently.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and identify risks and opportunities</li></ul><p><strong>What’s in it for you? #LifeAtOmio</strong></p><p>This role is based on-site at Omio's modern and friendly head office in Warschauer Platz, offering a great environment to grow your career alongside like-minded professionals.
