What We Offer 

The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $106,577- $175,852.  New hires are typically brought into the organization between $145,000- $165,000.  We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but are not limited to:

The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed. Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days.

Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed.  In this position you can expect to work 3-5 days per week on-site.  Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days.  This position is programmed as a position eligible for reporting in a hybrid work environment including reporting in office at WorldPort offices and reporting remotely.  Note, as this is a fast-paced, dynamic environment, business needs may dictate more in-office time than the minimum.

Position 1:

The Special Projects division at Denver International Airport is responsible for delivering complex and multi-phased Capital Improvement Programs, which the portfolio currently includes the Great Hall Terminal Renovation, Baggage Handling System Modernization and Recapitalization, Consolidated Rental Car Facility, and the North Terminal Expansion.  These mega projects are critical in supporting future passenger growth at one of the largest and busiest airports in the world.  The Special Projects Division is seeking a Senior Design Manager to perform oversight and advise on professional service deliverables, collaborate and manage the design through construction, and provide Project Management support services where needed.  This includes monitoring programmatic and project-level scopes, budgets, and schedules in conjunction with construction progress and program budgets for multiple programs.  The position will interact with contractors and designers, construction and design project managers, D
