About the role

Reports to: Director of Patient Care Administration   Position Supervises: N/A   Job Summary:   Assists in the safe care of the patient as directed. Assists in maintaining safe and efficient unit operations, while utilizing excellent customer service skills. Permitted to change patient from portable O2 to wall O2.   Education   ⚬ Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.   ⚬ Preferred: Current enrollment or completion of Nursing Assistant Training Program   Registration/Certification/Licensure: Healthcare Provider CPR and Act 33/73 clearances   Experience   ⚬ Minimum: N/A   ⚬ Preferred: Clinical experience obtained through a Nursing Assistant Training Program or previous experience working as a nursing assistant in an acute care facility.   Other Requirements: Comprehensive Crisis Management per policy. Completion of EKG training within 1 year of hire/transfer. Responsible to safely access, transport, and handle single dose medications to include prescription and non-prescription medications. Responsible to safely access, transport, and handle sharps, such as needles, suture kits, lancets, syringes, etc.   Status:   Non-Exempt   Physical Requirements:     The following frequency definitions apply to all Physical Requirements unless otherwise noted:
Occasional: (0-1/3 of day , 0 - 2.5 hrs/day, 1 - 4 reps/hr)
Frequent: (1/3 -2/3 of day , 2.5 - 5.5 hrs/day, 5 -24 reps/hr)
Constant: (> 2/3rd of day , > 5.5 hrs/day, > 24 reps/hr)
