As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Operations in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the property. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery areas in accordance with site procedures, helping to support orderly operations across the property.
• Assist with routine property checks and security-related inspections of doors, gates, lighting, and other key areas, and communicate maintenance and incident-related issues as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 lbs, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
