Job Description

The Associate Director, Analytics & Insights serves as a strategic analytics leader and thought partner, driving data‑backed insights that inform strategy, forecasting, and senior leadership decisions. This role sets the analytics vision for a therapeutic area, integrates diverse data sources, advances predictive analytics, and collaborates cross‑functionally to translate insights into meaningful commercial and patient impact.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Jazz is dedicated to delivering a differentiated customer experience, and the Associate Director, Analytics & Insights plays a pivotal role as a strategic thought partner and analytical expert—driving actionable insights that inform strategy, lifecycle planning, forecasting, and senior leadership decision‑making.

  • This role sets the strategic direction for Therapeutic Area analytics, advancing the use of secondary data analytics, predictive modeling, and analytical approaches to surface new insights and enable forward‑looking actions. The Associate Director oversees performance analytics, ensuring the organization clearly understands the key drivers, barriers, and opportunities shaping performance. This individual synthesizes insights from a wide range of data sources and collaborates closely with cross‑functional partners to translate analytics into meaningful business impact.

  • The Associate Director operates in a highly matrixed environment, partnering with Analytics colleagues and cross‑functional stakeholders across Field Leadership, Marketing, Market Access, Business Operations, Digital Enterprise Capabilities, and Learning & Development to deliver objective, strategic insights on brand and market performance.

  • A successful candidate will bring a growth mindset, demonstrating curiosity, resilience, and a willingness to learn from failure, experiment with new approaches, and continuously evolve how analytics are applied to business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Analytics & Insights Leadership

  • Define and advance the analytics vision and operating approach for the Therapeutic Area to strengthen data‑driven decision‑making across brands and the portfolio.

  • Serve as a senior analytics and insights advisor to leadership, influencing strategies, priorities, and tactics through objective, data‑backed recommendations.

  • Shape near‑ and mid‑term priorities in partnership with Marketing, Sales, and cross‑functional stakeholders, grounded in patient and provider experiences, outcomes, data and evolving market dynamics.

  • Represent analytics in planning cycles, business reviews, and leadership forums, contributing to enterprise‑level discussions and decisions.

Analytics & Decision Support

  • Lead the integration and triangulation of secondary data sources (e.g., claims, EHR/EMR, specialty pharmacy, Rx, CRM, internal performance data) to develop a unified view of patient journeys, treatment patterns, and competitive dynamics.

  • Apply predictive analytics and identify leading vs lagging indicators to inform forecasting, opportunity assessment, targeting, and risk evaluation.

  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to develop scalable analytical frameworks, metrics, and decision‑support tools that enable consistent, repeatable decision‑making.
