As the Senior Releasing Analyst, you will be a part of leading or supporting an exciting and fast paced cross-functional team tasked with using your business acumen and analytical skills to drive critical part supply solutions. We need problem solvers, who can not only pull data, but use their curiosity to identify the gaps, recommend solutions and help execute the proposals. 

What you'll do...

 

The Senior Releasing Analyst is responsible for managing the interface between our supply base and the various Parts Supply and Logistics (PS&L)/Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems (SAP/SNC, MMP, SDS, Super-G), ensuring our suppliers adhere to our established processes and ship to the schedules provided. 

 

  • Supervise a Demand Analyst and two Third Party Logistics providers who interface with our suppliers on issues such as behind schedule, backorders, Super-G performance, and Vehicles Off-Road

  • Escalate Supplier Performance for all suppliers in the assigned department as needed

  • Hold reoccurring meetings with high VOR/backorder/behind schedule/poor performing suppliers to obtain promise ship dates at the part level and drive overall supplier improvement and development

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement through data analysis 

  • Ensure MCRP compliance via annual audits and certification

  • Escalate supplier issues cross-functionally (e.g. Production/Service Purchasing, Product Analysis, Quality, Engineering, Material Planning & Logistics, etc.)

  • Support Sales & Marketing, CX (Customer Experience) initiatives, and other FCSD Transformation projects while working with Ford/Lincoln dealers, as required

You'll have...

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience3+ years of supply chain, purchasing or related experience

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to work with large cross-functional teams and remotely supervise

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to multi-task

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills

  • Outstanding interpersonal, team building, and communication skills

 

Even better, you may have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain

  • 1+ years of project management experience 

  • Knowledge of PS&L systems, primarily SAP SCM

  • Working knowledge of 8-D process

This position is a range of salary grades 7-8.
