Position Overview

The Head of Cancer Care Value Partnerships (CCVP) Strategy will serve as the global strategic leader for the CCVP business. Reporting to the Head of CCVP, this role is responsible for defining and driving the long-term global strategy, market positioning, and growth roadmap for CCVP.

This leader will shape how and where CCVP competes globally — developing a five-year strategic plan, identifying priority markets, defining required capabilities, and expanding the portfolio beyond current professional services and radiation medicine programs.

The ideal candidate brings deep healthcare strategy expertise, strong commercial acumen, and a proven ability to translate market insight into scalable growth initiatives within complex, global healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities

Global Strategy & Long-Range Planning

  • Develop and lead the overall global CCVP strategy aligned with enterprise priorities.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive 5-year strategic roadmap, including growth targets, investment priorities, and expansion pathways.
  • Identify future growth opportunities, including new business models, partnerships, and adjacent service lines across the oncology care continuum.
  • Partner closely with the Head of CCVP to ensure strategic alignment with execution and delivery models.

Market Segmentation & Geographic Prioritization

  • Segment global markets and define priority geographies based on oncology maturity, reimbursement landscape, and growth potential.
  • Develop region-specific expansion strategies and provide guidance to commercial and regional leaders.
  • Monitor competitive dynamics and emerging oncology care models to inform market positioning.

Capability Strategy & Portfolio Expansion

  • Define the capabilities required to scale and differentiate the CCVP program globally (clinical, digital, workforce, analytics, commercial).
  • Identify capability gaps and recommend build, buy, or partner strategies.
  • Expand the CCVP portfolio beyond immediate professional services and radiation medicine programs into high-impact adjacent offerings.

Customer & Market Insight

  • Engage directly with customers to understand strategic priorities and unmet needs.
  • Conduct executive-level interviews, focus groups, and structured market research to inform strategy development.
  • Translate customer and market insights into actionable growth initiatives and business cases.

Executive Influence & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to enterprise leadership.
  • Develop compelling business cases and strategic presentations for executive stakeholders.
  • Align cross-functional leaders (clinical, digital, finance, commercial, product) around long-term growth priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in healthcare, business, or related field preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in healthcare strategy, oncology services, consulting, or enterprise growth leadership.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year strategic plans in complex healthcare organizations.
  • Strong expertise in global market segmentation, portfolio strategy, and expansion planning.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare delivery models and healthcare economics.
  • Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across matrixed, global organizations.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
