About the Job

As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning, responsive, and user-friendly websites and web applications for software development. You will collaborate with designers and back-end developers to translate design concepts into functional, interactive web experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website/Application Development:
• Write clean, maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to implement the front end of websites and web applications.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility and optimize for performance.
• Develop responsive web designs that adapt to various screen sizes and devices.
• User Interface (UI) Design:
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to turn design concepts into interactive, engaging user interfaces.
• Create visually appealing layouts, graphics, and animations.
• Ensure consistency in design elements and user experiences throughout the website or application.
• Interactivity and User Experience (UX):
• Implement interactive features and functionality using JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Optimize user journeys and workflows to enhance overall user experience.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to make improvements.
• Code Optimization and Performance:
• Optimize front-end code for speed and efficiency.
• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks and browser compatibility issues.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and trends in front-end development.
• Version Control and Collaboration:
• Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to collaborate with team members and track changes.
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end and back-end systems seamlessly.
• Testing and Debugging:
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure the functionality of web pages and troubleshoot any issues.
• Debug and resolve front-end issues and errors promptly.
• Documentation and Communication:
• Document code and development processes for reference and knowledge sharing.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end development frameworks/libraries.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and collaboration with designers.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
