We have a unique opportunity for an exceptional talent to oversee the operations and effectiveness of the Office of the CEO.
What’s special about this role:
Reporting directly to the CEO with the aid of a Senior Executive Assistant as a direct report - this role
supports the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as well as the Director of the Office of the CEO. This is an
exciting and unique role that provides exposure to all aspect of our business and has duties across a
wide range of responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the coordination of all work-related domestic and international travel, meetings, and scheduling (daily, monthly, and annually) for the CEO.
- Internal and external coordination/scheduling and logistics for multiple Amway approved external professional and philanthropic board commitments, as well as ad hoc projects to support.
The role also requires:
- On-demand support of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as well as the Director, Office of the CEO and Global Leadership Team members in support of request of the CEO.
- Organization of joint activities and scheduling for the CEO, GLT, and US Executive Staff.
Required qualifications:
- Seven years of professional experience with a minimum of 1 year as Executive Secretary.
- Proven experience in managing highly visible, high volume, fast-paced, high demand projects/processes.
- Demonstrated proficiency with current office support tools, systems, and software programs.
- Exceptional executive presence and communication skills (written and verbal).
Skills to be successful in the role:
- Strong ability to balance and service all key stakeholders in a highly dynamic and variable environment.
- Organizational and political savvy when dealing with high level executive staff.
- Ability to maintain an extremely high level of confidentiality including that of family
and outside interests. - Proven ability to effectively interface, discuss and effectively support high status, influential staff, business leaders and stakeholders.
