General Information:
Hitachi Energy is seeking for a Senior Facility/Maintenance Engineer for it's Mount Pleasant , PA location.

Your Responsibilities:

• Plan, designs and implements maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of manufacturing facilities and equipment.
• Performs engineering review of proposed new equipment designs to assess reliability, ease of maintenance, and availability of replacement parts.
• Liaises with production staff to coordinate repair work, statutory safety inspections and supply of new plant and equipment with production schedules.
• Participates with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Develop the scope requirements for maintenance & construction projects.
• Coordinates with regulatory agencies to ensure all permit and building code requirements are identified and implemented.
• Oversees contractor work to ensure implementation of Hitachi requirements and safety and quality requirements are achieved.
• Manages monthly preventative maintenance requirements for the building and equipment to minimize failures and repairs and to extend the life of the assets.
• Recommends new construction projects to the facilities to increase production capacity and to ensure manufacturing efficiencies are achieved.

Your Background:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or technical arena.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• 10 years minimum experience in manufacturing and/or maintenance.
• Skills include technical knowledge of equipment and maintenance requirements.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with management and technical staff.
• Communication skills include the ability to simplify complex processes into understandable presentations and requirements.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
