Responsibilities
The successful candidate must be familiar with Information Technology infrastructure, network, systems, and computer network defense (CND) technologies and information assurance (IA) policies. The candidate must have experience managing information technology (IT) projects in a Department of Defense (DoD) hosted services environment. Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate with customers, develop technical requirements and produce statements of work.
- Perform site surveys and consolidate/produce as built drawings and specifications.
- Research industry and government standards and produce consolidated requirements list.
- Collaborate with technical team to develop system and infrastructure solution designs and implementation plans.
- Present technical solutions to customers and stockholders, consolidate feedback, and produce final design documents.
- Coordinate with stake holders and project resources, provide onsite technical and safety direction, and ensure delivery is in compliance with statements of work.
- Follow company processes and procedures, analyze efficiencies and provide constructive recommendations to improve processes.
- Process Requests for Change (RFC) and participate in Technical Review Boards (TRB) and Change Advisory Boards (CAB).
- Develop risk mitigation and quality assurance strategies for projects.
- Develop and maintain baseline configuration documentation, including updates based on the implementation of approved changes.
- Produce and distribute daily, weekly, monthly and/or periodic status reports (as required).
- Present weekly/monthly status reports (verbal/written) to key customer and company staff.
Desired Skills
- Ten (10+) years’ experience managing IT projects in a DoD environment
- Must be able to meet medical requirements for deployment to danger/hardship location
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to brief senior military officials
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
Education and Certifications
- PMP certification or equivalent experience.
- Network and/or systems certification(s) such as Cisco CCNP or Microsoft MCSE/MCITP
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT management or 10 years’ experience analyzing government/military technical requirement, developing solutions, and inspecting compliance with standards.

- Must possess US Secret clearance
