BASIC PURPOSE:  The Truck Care Maintenance and Compliance Administrative Assistant will coordinate and maintain our technicians Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance and the maintenance of the Loves Total Truck Care fleet and equipment

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain DOT compliance and the onboarding process of new applicants
• Maintain DOT compliance of existing employees
• Maintain records of service and maintenance of company assets
• Assist in the training of Field and Home Office employees in all aspects of reporting
• Provide unbiassed and comprehensive reporting based on analysis findings
• Other duties as assigned or as needed.

 

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED
• Experience:
  • Demonstrate a capacity for working with computers, analytics, and reporting
  • Data Entry, Administrative, Vehicle Maintenance and DOT Compliance, Office Clerk or some office experience a plus but not required

 

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Skills:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products suite, and ability to learn new software applications and computer programs
  • Build & sustain relationships using the appropriate interpersonal skills and communication methods to build constructive relationships with business units, and service organizations to meet shared goals and objectives
  • Contribute to the team’s success by demonstrating cooperation and collaboration while participating in a group or team environment
  • Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Typical Physical Demands:
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
