Asplundh Region 442 is seeking an administrative assistant and data entry clerk to join our office in Scott Depot, West Virginia! This person must be organized, with good attention to detail and a positive, self-motivated attitude. If this sounds like you, read on and consider joining our team!
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and track various field tech activities using data entry on multiple platforms including Excel and web pages.
- Follow up with remote staff to ensure completion of required tasks in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed.
- Answer, direct, and make phone calls for the region.
- Maintain office supply inventory.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, email, packages, and fax.
- Will handle inquiries, work requests, and at times employee / personnel information.
- Maintain a professional work area. (Conference room, front desk, waiting area and supply areas).
- Provide support and assistance to help the facility and personnel function as a team environment.
- Complete various other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.
- Proactive attitude, self motivated.
- Knowledge of office and business practices, equipment, and procedures.
- Must possess good planning and organizational skills.
- Able to react to change productively and capable of meeting short deadlines.
- Able to pay close attention to details and identify/correct mistakes.
- Good and consistent attendance.
- Ability to keep confidential information private.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Travel Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the office.
Pre-Screen
- Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Physical Requirements:
- RARE (less than 10%): Kneeling, Stooping, Squatting, body-twisting, Gripping.
- OCCASIONAL (up to 33%): Pushing, Sense of Touch, Carrying, Pulling, Manual Dexterity, lifting up to 30 lbs.
- FREQUENT (up to 66%): Standing, Reaching, range-of-motion, Walking, Sitting.
- CONTINUOUS (up to 100%): Seeing, Sense of Touch, Hearing/Speech Range, Lifting up to 10 lbs., Speaking Clearly, Reading, Color Vision.
