About you and this role
The Corporate Brand, Reputation & Digital Communications Director is responsible for driving brand growth, enhancing and protecting brand equity, and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints and with all stakeholder groups globally.
The Corporate Brand, Reputation & Digital Communications Director establishes standards and guidelines to ensure consistent brand expression, including promotional materials, events, website/digital spaces, and social presence and partners across the organization to elevate and protect the Dow Brand. This includes corporate branding and digital property governance, budgets, processes, and standards. This individual also measures the impact of multichannel Dow content and storytelling across the Enterprise and advises on ways in which to optimize its delivery and impact.
In addition, this role partners across Public Affairs and the broader Enterprise to elevate how everything we do supports the Company's ambition to be the most innovative, customer centric, inclusive and sustainable material science company in the world.
Core responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive brand and reputation management strategy that aligns with the Company's overall goals and objectives.
- Leads a team of digital channel communication managers.
- Provide expertise on corporate brand and digital communications strategy, management, advertising, media planning, media buying, content strategy, and content production.
- Refine the Seek Together brand value proposition, ensuring it resonates with target audiences and distinguishes the brand from competitors.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the brand's visual and verbal identity, including logos, color palettes, messaging, and tone of voice.
- Lead the creation of integrated campaigns that effectively drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Monitor and manage brand equity, tracking brand familiarity and favorability metrics and implementing strategies to enhance brand perception and loyalty.
- Create brand and reputation update presentations for Executive leadership.
- Work with Corporate Communications, Business Communications, Sports Marketing and Global Citizenship to map out and support strategic corporate partnerships that elevate the company's brand and reputation.
- Collaborate closely with Global Marketing Discipline and Legal to ensure that product, market, service, and technology brands align with the brand architecture.
- Manage and oversee the strategic digital agency resource and related budgets for Public Affairs (web content, social media, SEO, SEM, measurement).
- Own, maintain and improve corporate digital capabilities and platforms, oversee the corporate digital agency relationship and lead brand-building advertising and corporate campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher OR relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant (PO2/Sgt) Military ranking.
- 12+ years of progressive communications experience.
- Experience working on cross-functional teams and successfully managing multiple stakeholders.
- Analytical capabilities and a proven ability to use data to improve performance and ability to learn new tools quickly.
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
