Senior Technical Specialist - Energy (f/m/d)

<p><br/> At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. </p> <h2>Job Overview</h2> <p>Technical Service Specialist is a professional serving the cross-functional tender teams and project teams to support product development, management, and sales solutions for the creation of comprehensive responses to requests for proposals (RFP/RFT/RFQ; tenders /quotations). Achieving the highest possible tender/offering performance rate followed by the successful and above all profitable sales is the primary and goal of his/her work contribution.</p> <p> </p> <p>As a Senior Technical Service Specialist you will be responsible for providing the comprehensive technical service for TE Energy Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, and particularly:</p> <ul> <li>Providing the day-to-day technical support for sales and business development  </li> <li>Being an active member of tender and project teams</li> <li>Supporting the tender quotes and RFQ’s (i.a. projects) for EMEA Customers</li> <li>Answering specific technical queries</li> <li>Coordinating technical audits, type tests and FAT execution coordination </li> <li>Supporting in taking care of dedicated GPLs (e.g. heat &amp; cold shrink MV/LV cable accessories)</li> <li>Verifying product and PCNs (part numbers) </li> <li>Coordinating post manufacturing reports</li> <li>Being the first point of contact for type-test reports, data sheet, drawings etc.</li> <li>Estimating and analyzing costs of the product(s) as support for product management, purchase &amp; finance unit</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Technical Service Specialist will be office based (2 days/week) and work with colleagues and customers across Europe mainly through remote communication measures.</p> <h2>What your background should look like:</h2> <ul> <li>Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar disciplines</li> <li>Good working knowledge of electrical equipment and insulation technology for industrial and utility applications.</li> <li>Working experience with product management, project management and task forces</li> <li>Working understanding of power business operations (utilities &amp; industrial)</li> <li>Strong customer service skills with customer-oriented mindset</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (written and oral fluency) </li> <li>Business level proficiency in German, or French, Spanish, Italian, Slavic languages will be an asset. </li> <li>Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office</li> </ul> <h2>We Offer:</h2> <ul> <li>Work in a team where a good atmosphere and team spirit is one of greatest values</li> <li>Private medical healthcare including dentist for you and your family</li> <li>Attractive package of extra benefits of your choosing in My Benefit Platform</li> <li>Multi-sport card in 3 options</li> <li>Delicious coffee and fresh squeezed juice</li> <li>Flexible working hours</li> <li>Hybrid working model - at least 2 days from the office in Krakow</li> <li>Modern and comfortable office</li> <li>Annual bonus</li> </ul> <h2>Competencies</h2> Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation<p>ABOUT TE CONNECTIVITY<br/> TE Connectivity is a global technology leader enabling a secure, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
