Registered Nurse – Casual Role | Bupa Bethesda Care Home
We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who wants to use their clinical skills where they truly matter. At Bupa Bethesda Care Home in Bishopdale, Christchurch, you’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, person-centred care while supporting caregivers and maintaining clinical standards across the home.
To excel in this role, you’ll bring confidence in aged care nursing, sound clinical judgement, and the ability to lead calmly through a shift. You’ll be comfortable with medication management, care planning, and responding to changes in resident condition, while communicating clearly with families and the wider care team.
This is a casual Registered Nurse role, where you can pick up shifts across Monday - Sunday. There are no guaranteed hours.
Where You’ll Make an Impact:
- Provide person-centred clinical care for residents in our 90-bed care home offering rest home, hospital, and dementia levels of care.
- Lead a team of caregivers to provide the highest quality clinical care.
- Conduct medication rounds, manage care plans, and maintain accurate paperwork.
- Stand up and tell us where we can invest more to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Your Person-First Approach:
You’ll help us make a real difference through your RN experience, personal passion, and empathy.
- Hold a current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration.
- Excellent clinical skills in adult care and ideal aged care experience.
- Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
- A compassionate nurse who strives for excellence and to make an impact in residents’ lives.
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.
