PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Salary to be commensurate with experience
The hiring range for this position is $22.01 - 27.51/Hourly

OVERVIEW OF JOB
The Water Utility Worker performs entry-level manual labor and assists with routine maintenance and unskilled manual tasks in the maintenance, repair, testing, calibration, inspection, installation and replacement of water meters and associated devices for the Support Services Division – Field Service Section of the Aurora Water Department.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs routine, minor repair and replacement of large water meters (1½” – 12”)
Performs non-complex equipment maintenance
Assists with the installation, repair and maintenance of water meters
Assists with the set-up and break down of alternate water source connections
Performs minor pit maintenance and re-construction of damaged meter pits
Operates and assists in the maintenance of hand and power tools, vehicles and equipment
Create and close out service orders properly on SpryPoint
Perform other duties as assigned
