EDUCATION: Appropriate Degree required from accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program

EXPERIENCE: 1 year of clinical experience specific to practice as a NP or PA preferredMust be able to see all ages, newborn to adult. Open to new graduates LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: 

REQUIREDBLS (CPR) | American Heart Association or American Red CrossCurrent PA or NP licensure in the State of NCDEA License

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Communicates professionally, compassionately and effectively with patients, co-workers and referring physicians. --------------------------------------------------Provides appropriate patient assessment and establishes evidence-based plan of care with physician input when deemed to be appropriate.--------------------------------------------------Provides patient education, discusses ongoing care, medications, resources for self-education, and when and how to contact the practice for emergent care.--------------------------------------------------Responds quickly and professionally to emergent care demands, family concerns and nursing questions. --------------------------------------------------Reviews, interprets and integrates patient data. --------------------------------------------------Uses all electronic and computerized resources to provide timely and accurate patient care. --------------------------------------------------
