Job Description:
Axon is looking for an enthusiastic leader who is passionate about providing an exceptional onboarding experience for our new sales hires. As the L&D Program Manager II - US Sales Onboarding at Axon, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the experience for newly hired sales representatives and leaders by leading the strategy and execution of the onboarding process.
We are looking for a high-energy, process-driven, self-motivated team player with exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills and a proven track record of leading teams to meet business initiatives. This person will be expected to quickly develop a strong understanding of our operations, processes, and new hires to identify ways to elevate the current onboarding program. This position will also work closely with numerous internal Axon teams to deliver a top-tier onboarding experience that prepares new sales hires for success from Day 1 to Day 90.
Location: Scottsdale, Boston, or Seattle
What You'll Do
- Own all components of the sales onboarding program to result in the successful ramp of all newly hired sales representatives and leaders.
- Facilitate onboarding sessions, hold touch points, and provide assistance to new hires and hiring managers throughout the 90-day onboarding journey.
- Have a clear understanding of Axon’s sales process.
- Monitor organizational changes, gather feedback, and proactively suggest changes or improvements to the onboarding process and materials.
- Build strong partnerships and establish recurring meetings to ensure continuous alignment and feedback loops.
- Direct onboarding presenters on content and flow to ensure quality and consistency, and well as guide hiring managers on tasks to complete and milestones to measure.
- Collaborate with L&D team members on scheduling onboarding sessions and other related projects to ensure a seamless experience for new hires.
- Provide reporting and metrics to Sales & People Operations leadership on onboarding successes, challenges, strategy, and priorities.
- Review, revise, and maintain resources and content for the sales onboarding program with help of the L&D team.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required
- 3+ years of Sales Onboarding, Sales Training, or relatable experience
- Strong attention to detail to identify and understand the differences and similarities across various sales teams.
- Process-oriented mindset
- Strong project management experience
- Excellent facilitation skills
- Collaborative team player, skilled at building relationships with business partners and leadership
- Proven ability to drive reliable and consistent high-quality results
- Exhibit a high degree of ownership and resourcefulness
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high growth business environment
- Proficient in SalesForce.com, MS Office, and/or other multimedia tools for editing documents, videos, presentations, etc.
