The Director, Collins Transformation & Strategy supports the Operations Transformation and Strategy and Industry 4.0 organization in developing and executing on strategies that will further enhance Collins business performance and profitability.  The position focuses on analysis, development, and execution of projects to achieve long term strategic goals and business profitability through cost reduction and optimizing sales activities. 

The successful candidate will drive various financial and business alignment discussions.

The individual will work remotely but will have flexibility to work out of a Collins Aerospace domestic location if preferred.

What YOU will do:

  • Drive various financial models, business alignment discussions, gated reviews, and lead strategy and synergy evaluations and discussions.

  • Leads macro-level competitive assessments and peer group analysis

  • Drives identification of revenue and technology synergies across the business units and support their implementation

  • Leads cross functionally to ensure quality, engineering, manufacturing, planning, compliance, and operational requirements are met to drive strategic operational enablers

  • Partner with RTX on Operations initiatives and strategies as a representative for Collins

  • Develop long-range objectives for strategic initiatives through partnership with SBUs.

  • Drive overall Operations Smart Factory and technology strategies, execution, adoption, and value capture across SBU sites.

  • Drive process excellence and execution for customers

  • Leverage RTX & Collins Operations Industry 4.0 organization partnership to implement solutions across Ops, Quality, and Supply Chain organizations within Collins

  • Work with business units to implement technology solutions to improve overall manufacturing capabilities

  • Must be willing and able to travel 25% of the time (domestic & international)

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minim 14 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience

  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as definedhttps://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

  • 10+ years prior experience in program management, finance, or operations

Qualifications We Prefer:
