Senior Adjudicator

SGI Global is seeking a Senior Adjudicator to support the United States Capitol Police (USCP), Office of Background Investigations and Credentialing (OBIC), in its mission to secure and protect Congress through the hiring of highly qualified personnel. This role will provide leadership and oversight of the adjudication process for sworn recruit officers, ensuring compliance with established suitability standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the adjudication process for USCP sworn recruit officer applicants.
• Manage and assign applicant case files to adjudication staff, monitoring completion and ensuring timelines are met.
• Perform final suitability determinations and review all disposition reports.
• Oversee the creation of approved applicant packets before Assessment Centers.
• Conduct quality control of work products and prepare productivity reports.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the USCP and the project team.
• Provide exemplary customer service and effectively communicate with USCP leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of adjudicative and investigative support experience.
• High school diploma or GED; advanced education preferred.
• Federal Background Investigator Training Program (FBITP) or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local fraud statutes.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple adjudication projects.
• Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and written communication skills.
• Successful completion of a USCP background check and fingerprinting.
• U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain Favorably adjudicated full-scope background investigation
