ABOUT THE TEAM

• We are looking for Principal Software Engineers to join our Internal Tools team. As a Principal Software Engineer on Anduril’s Internal Tools team, you will architect and implement mission-critical applications that enforce lean business processes, add multiplicative leverage to Anduril employees, and scale Anduril into a next-generation defense prime.

ABOUT THE JOB

• As a member of the internal tools team, you will be integral in building out Forge, Anduril’s custom supply chain, manufacturing, and deployment mission execution software. Your decisions will significantly impact the company today and in the future. We seek a developer who quickly understands distributed systems and creates features that drive bottom-line value for the business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Create elegant SaaS or on-premise solutions in a mini-startup environment.
• Elevate team applications through quality code contributions.
• Have deep expertise in a portion of the full stack (backend, frontend, integration).
• Collaborate with a high-functioning team to finish business-critical projects.
• Automate company operations to drive bottom-line savings.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of experience in a software engineering role building products, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related technical degree.
• Experience with large enterprise applications and platforms with high availability requirements.
• Proficiency with web-based technologies such as Javascript, React, Typescript, and web frameworks like Remix or NextJS.
• Ability to empathize with end-users, turn needs into features, and balance user experience with engineering constraints.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with AWS, Typescript, and React/Remix is useful.
• Experience in hyper-growth startup environments with demonstrated success in scaling and maturing software development processes, team culture, and methods.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.

US Salary Range$196,000—$294,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
