Summary:
The HRIS and Process Specialist is responsible for several aspects of human resources including the management and delivery of HR functions such as HRIS administration, performance management, employee relations, report creation and analysis, continuous improvement. This position will work onsite in Tontitown, AR.
Core Functions:
- Lead administrator for HRIS system: UKG Pro (formerly UltiPro)
- Provide hands-on operational support for issues, change requests, and complex system/process questions
- Responsible for the testing, set-up, and implementation of the HRIS system and the on-going development of the HR applications, system administration, support, and maintenance.
- Liaison with the system supplier for upgrades, patches, and other system issues on a daily basis.
- Responsible for administration and setup of all user accounts to access the system. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing HR systems.
- Responsible for training of staff at all locations on the system.
Performance Management:
- Ownership of the performance management processes design and management in UKG Pro
- Provide administrative support for performance management programs and provides guidance/coaching to supervisors and managers
- Provide communications and training materials, as well as design campaigns for creating a culture of continuous Performance Management
- Design and review policies and procedures related to employee performance
Division Support:
- Assist with the development, implementation, and deployment of HR policies, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in conflict management, concern resolution, and detailed investigations. Also responsible for leading the performance management and corrective actions/termination process
- Ensures internal compliance with regards to standard operating procedures, policies and delegation of authority for all core HR processes
- Responsible for the coaching, developing, and mentoring of supervisors and managers around application and demonstration of HR core competencies
- Leads year-end processes including performance management and salary planning
- Serve as backup for accurate transaction management and data submission for payroll processing
Other:
- Leads continuous improvement and project initiatives within the department and across the Company
- Provides reporting, analysis, and corrective action support for the HR Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) using Cognos Analytics Business Intelligence reporting software
- Creates ad hoc reporting and presentations as required by site leadership
- Maintains knowledge of HR related laws, requirements, and government reporting regulations, ensuring company policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
- Special projects as assigned in HR.=
- Support / Back-up / Cross-train with other HR members
- Assist with HR Policy Development and administration, including enforcement, education, and interpretation to ensure fair and consistent treatment between team members, shifts, and plants
- Be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information encountered
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five or more years of HR experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- UltiPro administrator experience strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel and Cognos Analytics Business Intelligence experience preferred
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
