Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer in Chantilly, VA to support Intelligence Community and DoD customers as part of a talented, high-performing team. As part of this team you will work with emerging service and distributed computing technologies for satellite situational awareness (SSA) data processing and distribution.
The EMMETT program, a next gen Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Indications and Warning (I&W) system, establishes a repository of resident space objects (RSOs), finds RSOs of interest, and provides data to ground operators. The EMMETT team uses: programmatics, sensor modeling, and system engineering expertise to deliver this world-class SDA I&W system.
What you'll do:
- Define test cases and data mappings
- Execute associated test cases
- Monitor and test connectivity of integrated systems and components
- Maintains the test result documentation that assists other teams in debugging and modification ofsoftware and systems
- Perform system level integration and test of all software components, ensuring their compatibility to meet program technical, schedule and cost objectives.
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
- This position requires the candidate possess a minimum of Top Secret with SCI eligibility and ability to pass a polygraph within 30 days of employment or at customers request- contract requires TS/SCI with poly. The candidate must maintain the clearance.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or related technical discipline or equivalent experience and minimum 12+ years of overall experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of Systems Integration and Test Engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience in developing and documenting test plans, detailed test procedures, test reports, test activities and transition plans
- Previous customer engagement experience to include customer teaming and the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Apply for this role
