Senior Lecturer in Communication Studies at Vanderbilt University

Description

The Department of Communication Studies at Vanderbilt University seeks a humanistic scholar for a non-tenure track Senior Lecturer position beginning in the Fall 2024. We are especially interested in hiring an instructor who can teach classes that focus on public speaking, persuasion, and argumentation. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to develop courses in their specialty area. The teaching load is 3 classes per semester. The initial contract period is for three years and is renewable after a successful review. 

Qualifications

The competitive applicant will hold a Ph.D. in Communication Studies or a related field, awrded by August 1, 2024.
