Using an Agile/Scrum methodology, SDEs discuss requirements, propose solutions, estimate their work, and then collaborate with others through the entire life cycle.<br/><br/><strong>Role &amp; Responsibility</strong></p> <ul> <li>Follow the established Agile/Scrum methodology for software design, development, code reviews, and testing; ensuring product quality and reliability</li> <li>Design, develop and integrate solutions (both hardware and software) that can be shipped on time while complying with standards for usability, security, stability, reliability, and performance.</li> <li>Implement New Functionality</li> <li>Bugfix of existing code / technical debt</li> <li>Writing technical documentation</li> <li>Code review.</li> </ul> <p><br/><strong>Required Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.</li> <li>4+ years of professional software development experience  </li> <li>Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, unit testing, and deployment</li> <li>Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Knowledge of ALM suites such as JIRA</li> <li>A strong understanding of relational databases</li> <li>Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)</li> </ul> <p><br/><strong>Desired Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with the following languages: <ul> <li>Golang</li> <li>C or C++</li> <li>Python</li> <li>Powershell</li> </ul> </li> <li>Knowledge of Linux</li> <li>Experience in Win API architecture</li> <li>Experience with clustering and HA technologies (Kubernetes, JuJu etc.)</li> <li>PostgreSQL or similar DB knowledge.</li> <li>Understanding of Hyper-V, Microsoft AD and other Microsoft products.</li> <li>Understanding of CI/CD approach.</li> </ul> <p> </p><p>Join the Kaseya growth rocket ship and see how we are #ChangingLives !</p> <p><strong>Additional information</strong><br/><em>Kaseya provides equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants without regard to race, religion, age, ancestry, gender, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.</em></p>
