Position Overview

This internship provides hands-on experience supporting cybersecurity initiatives, helping to protect company systems, networks, and data. Key Responsibilities
Assist with monitoring security systems and alerts to identify potential threats or vulnerabilities
Support vulnerability assessments, security scans, and risk analyses
Help investigate security incidents and document findings
Participate in maintaining and updating security policies, procedures, and documentation
Assist with user access reviews and identity management processes
Conduct research on emerging cybersecurity threats, tools, and best practices
Support awareness initiatives, including employee cybersecurity training and communications
Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams on security-related tasks and projects
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as network security, encryption, firewalls, and endpoint protection
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking fundamentals
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
Coursework or projects related to cybersecurity, ethical hacking, or information assurance
Exposure to tools such as SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, or endpoint detection software
Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
