  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers to procure and demonstrate capabilities for advanced hypersonic antenna products.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for related failure investigations.
  • Support component-level design and testing, including design reviews, validation, and verification processes.
  • Facilitate team collaboration by leveraging individual skill sets and addressing gaps to achieve high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Communicate task status and influence strategic plans across teams, programs, and customer leadership.
  • Develop and deliver professional-level design documentation and technical presentations to internal leadership and external customers.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience to include the following:
    • Design, analysis, and / or oversight of mechanical products, with a focus on RF mechanical products such as antennas, radomes, and/or circuit card assemblies
    • Experience using and designing with 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) software
    • Experience creating Technical Data Packages (TDPs) using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Advanced design experience with RF-specific products, including antennas, missile bodies, circuit card assemblies, and/or RF test chambers.
  • Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience serving in technical leadership roles such as Responsible Engineering Authority (REA), Control Account Manager (CAM), and/or Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL).
  • Proven expertise in supplier management for build-to-print or build-to-specification RF products.
  • Familiarity with structural and thermal analysis tools, such as Creo Simulate or ANSYS Workbench, for preliminary evaluations of design concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience delivering presentations to leadership and customers.
  • Strong understanding of failure investigation processes, including root cause identification and corrective action implementation.
  • Experience designing for manufacturability, producibility, and cost optimization.
