Your Tasks

We as the Excellence team within Procurement drive continuous improvement across all areas and regions. We are passionate about Procurement, processes and technology. In order to generate a competitive edge for Beiersdorf, we enable the Global Procurement Network to work efficiently and effectively and to develop the right capabilities.
You will be a key contributor in bringing our Procurement Compass to life. With a focus on strategies and risk management you will build the base for state of the art and robust Procurement programs and processes. You will further develop and implement a structured supplier relationship management program, work on the concept for category strategies and be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management approach. You will work in international projects and collaborate closely with the global Procurement community and other internal and external stakeholders.
 
Your tasks in detail:
 

• Responsibility for the overall supplier relationship management program within global Procurement, implementation and steering of the program, constant development and improvement
• Responsibility for the category strategy concept, its implementation and further development
• Development of a holistic risk management concept and program for Procurement in close co-operation with other Procurement teams and relevant stakeholders (e. g. within Supply Chain), its implementation and constant development
• Representation of Procurement in company-wide risk management measures and programs and overseeing Procurement activities therein
• Benchmarking with other companies as well as understanding key trends from the market via participation at conferences or exchange with consultancies
• Ensuring that strategy and risk related requirements are integrated into our Procurement processes and systems
• Identifying and proposing of strategy and risk related tools
• Participation in strategy and/or risk related projects (e.g. implementation of tools or programs)
• Development of guidelines and execution of trainings for the global Procurement community

Your Profile

• University degree in Business Administration, International Management, Supply Chain Management or similar
• Professional experience in an international environment in procurement, consultancy and/or strategy development
• Experience in concept development and implementation, strategic topics and projects
• Strong capabilities in conceptual thinking, project management and process design
• Strong communication skills, pragmatic, process and result oriented personality
• International mindset and high level of cross-cultural awareness 
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
