Position Overview
The role is part of a growing European IT PMO that is transforming in maturity and scope to better deliver projects across all CRH EU Operating Companies. The role will lead highly complex and critical initiatives that cover all aspects of IT and technology related change. The Senior IT Project Manager will build a broad range of relationships throughout European IT and CRH Operating Companies.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for managing complex Projects & Programmes of work
- Be responsible for managing the relationships with stakeholders at all levels throughout the organization
- Be responsible for providing senior leadership to project teams across Europe
- Be responsible for ensuring projects and programmes are communicated clearly to stakeholders
- Assist the business clearly define project requirements and scope
- Align projects and programmes with internal processes e.g. cost management, CAB
- Ensure momentum is maintained at all times
- Be responsible for aligning with the CRH project methodologies
- Develop a detailed plans to track progress
- Measure and report on performance and status
- Perform risk management to minimize risks
- Be responsible for ensuring projects and programmes are delivered on-time, within scope and budget

Experience / Education
You are/have:
- Significant Project & Programme delivery experience in large cap organisations
- University degree or equivalent in Information Technology
- Project management accredited e.g. Prince 2

- Ensure advance notice of the change is sufficient to give impacted functions enough time to be fully prepared
