Head of Project Controlling (Hybrid)

SUMMARY

Establish, grow, lead, and manage the Project Controlling Organization. Collaborate cross functionally across BU3 regionally on all Project Controlling Matters. Expand collaboration globally on Global programs when needed.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

• Management of the Project Controlling headcount, including disciplinary & performance reviews, ensuring employee development, day-to-day guidance and prioritization, team coordination and development, etc.
• Driving Program Financial and Profitability Analysis Best Practices.
• Presenting analysis to senior regional and global management personnel.
• Driving Product Cost Development Process Best Practices.
• Driving Value preserving MSPs and Strategies.
• Driving Overhead Premises and Rate Calculations adhering the MAHLE Guidelines.
• Establishing Training Materials, Desk Notes, Financial Models and Templates as necessary for process optimization.
• Provide financial leadership to various customer project analysis.
• Making Recommendations to Sales and Product Development during Quotations.
• Partnering with BU3 NA Management MSP discussion on assessing Risk/Opportunity.
• Partner with Stakeholders in other departments for their alignment and support in the costing process.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Sciences required; MBA preferred.
• 10 years of progressively increasing responsibility in a financial analysis role; commercial finance preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills a must; experience with Microsoft Office tools required.
• Strong systems skills/aptitude.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Proven thought leadership and critical thinking skills.
