- Provide support to develop integrated master schedules (IMS) and program schedules using MS Project Management and ServiceNow scheduling tools, ensuring alignment with program milestones and deadlines.
- Support schedule risk assessments and identify potential risks to program timelines, providing recommendations for mitigation and risk reduction.
- Support the development of program management documents, including scheduling and risk management components, utilizing industry best practices and DOD guidelines.
- Support the PEO, DPEO, Portfolio Managers, and program managers by assisting and providing guidance for tracking and reporting program schedule performance, including earned value management (EVM) and other metrics, using tools such as MS Project Management and ServiceNow.
- Support the development of POAMs to track and manage program milestones, deliverables, and dependencies, ensuring that programs under the management of the Acquisition Support Office are properly planned, executed, and monitored.Utilize DOD authorized tools to help develop and manage program risks in compliance with the Department of Defense Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) Management Guide (DoD Instruction 5000.
- Support risk management activities, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation, using tools such as the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the DOD Risk Management Guide as a function of overall support provided by the ASO.
- Assist in the development of program schedules and timelines, including the identification of critical path activities and dependencies.
- Support the PEO/DPEO in conducting program reviews, including schedule and risk management reviews, using tools such as MS Project Management and ServiceNow.
- Provide support to program managers, portfolio managers, and analysts in developing and maintaining program schedules, risk management plans, and POAMs, utilizing enterprise tools such as ServiceNow and MS Project Management.
- Assisting with development and sustainment of PEO policies, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Prepare, revise, and/or update required program lifecycle products and documents, and assist the J62 PEO in the preparation and review of acquisition packages, subject to Government review, and approval.
- This includes the coordination, review and archival of such documentation for current and emerging business systems for all Acquisition Category (ACAT) and Business Category (BCAT) levels (DOD 5000.x series and Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff Instructions (CJCSI) as required) throughout all phases of the acquisition lifecycle. Acquisition documents include, but are not limited to:
- Acquisition Strategies, Business Case Analysis, Business Process Reengineering Plans, Analyses of Alternatives, Economic Analyses, Initial Capability Documents, Capability Development Documents/Capability Support Plans, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, Acquisition Program Baseline, Information Assurance Strategies, Information Support Plans, Communications Plans, Change Proposals, Performance Work Statements/Statements of Work/Statement of Objectives, Work Breakdown Structures Schedules, Service Level Agreements and related documentation, Internal Use Software (IUS) Review and Tracking.
- Must have Project Management certification (i.e., Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, other equivalent nationally recognized certification.)
- Five (5) years project management or other relevant experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
- Five (5) years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields and working with DLA’s J6 operations and in addition, have 10 years or more year of relevant PM experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a work environment of similar size and complexity of the Task Order.
