How you'll add value:
- Lead, develop, and coach staff
- Stand-up Treasury Management function
- Establish and execute cash investment strategy
- Support IPO readiness
- Oversee ERP, Revenue, Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Treasury Management
- Work with peer to establish a close process to ensure efficiency and accuracy including producing consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Produce accurate, timely, and relevant SaaS metrics
- Monitor and review the cash, revenue, payroll, and accounts payable balance sheet reconciliations and consolidation
- Manage revenue recognition processes under ASC606
- Maintain a deep understanding of GAAP and incorporating new accounting standards and policy requirements as they are released
- Partner with FP&A on financial analysis processes, including forecasts, budget, and variances
- Develop and manage public-company financial controls, processes, and procedures
- Manage banking, and payroll relationships
- Oversee all payroll and tax activities, and ensure compliance with local, state, federal government reporting requirements and filings
- Create and implement short and long-term department objectives, policies, and operating procedures
- Prepare analyses and presentation materials as needed by senior management, including reports, forecasts and projections and support for Board and investor presentations and analyses.
- Streamline and identify process improvement and automation opportunities
- Participate in the implementation of a new ERP
- Assist Controller & VP, Accounting with ad hoc projects and special reporting/analysis when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s or master’s in accountancy, finance, or related degree
- Active, CPA license or equivalent experience required
- 6+ years of related experience
- High growth SaaS Pre-IPO company experience required. Post-IPO is a plus
- Public accounting experience with a Big 4 or nationally recognized accounting firm is strongly preferred
- Strong technical accounting skills with demonstrated ASC 606/revenue recognition experience
- Strong knowledge of non-GAAP industry metrics applicable to SaaS companies
- Past experience with Intacct, NetSuite, Great Plains, or equivalent ERP
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills, with the ability to relate technical solutions to business terminology and goals effectively and concisely to executives, team members and others
- Strong remote team leadership qualities with ability to work independently and across many time zones and outsource partners
- Ability to break down tasks into stories and deliver incrementally.
- Strong business insight and judgment, team orientated, and provides a collaborative and inclusive style.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to communicate sophisticated technical issues effectively and concisely to executives, team members and others.
- Professional stature and gravitas to collaborate with and influence leaders and team members with credibility and confidence.
- High professional standards and expectations for self and others.
- Occasional travel required.

- Compensation: Restaurant365 focuses on equitable pay for our team and aims for transparency with our pay practices. This position has a salary range of $160K-$185K. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
