This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Business Development & Strategic Accounts Director, you will be responsible for:

  • In your activities you will drive business line goals and objectives related to sales, productivity, profitability, market penetration, and other various areas.
  • You will be the primary liaison to Strategic Corporate Accounts and Federal Accounts, influencing contract strategy with tailored offers and value-adds and ensuring post-sale continued success of the XP portfolio.
  • You will collaborate with team members from Strategic Corporate Accounts, Federal Accounts, Business Line, and Field Sales with strategic development and execution of all marketing programs, operational strategies, price positioning, managing customer relationships, and customer satisfaction.
  • You will create strategic plans and develop programs aligned with business line strategy with involvement of both local and global business line leadership where appropriate.
  • You will adapt global and local product messaging and drive standardization messaging for each Strategic Corporate Accounts and Federal Accounts.
  • You will explore opportunities to pilot XP initiatives within key IDN's and GPO’s at the Region and Zone level that will enhance Siemens XP value proposition for that IDN/GPO. 
  • You will explore untapped entrepreneurial market segments to expand XP growth and footprint. 
  • You will communicate campaigns, programs, and pricing to key stakeholders.
  • You will make decisions on administrative and operational matters and ensure effective achievement of objectives.

  • You have good PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
  • You have very good presentation skills in the customer environment, and you show team orientation, communication skills and customer orientation.
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility, is expected.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years customer relationship or business management experience in the field of Healthcare.
  • Willing to travel up to 30%.

The base pay range for this position is:

$158,300 - $217,657

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
