Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to perform duties at a work center with an emphasis on communications products. The primary work product is the complete digital design of a PCB (Printed Wiring Board) from inception through layout and assembly. 

The successful candidate must operate with the highest level of personal integrity, adapt to rapidly changing circumstances, and adhere to accepted processes to ensure successful completion of projects. Other desirable attributes include being able to work under own initiative, be calm under pressure and responsive to change with a logical approach to technical problem resolution and decision making. 

What You Will Do
   • Work within a team environment to generate/update Schematics based on Design Requirements
   • Collaborate with ECAD designers to generate a full Database and Drawings to build PWB/CCAs  
   • Perform Design Verification and Troubleshooting
   • Produce and present Design Documentation

Qualifications You Must Have
   • Experience with schematic capture tools using Siemen’s Xpedition Toolset or equivalent
   • Capable of selecting Parts and creating Bill Of Materials/Parts List (BOM/PL)
   • Experience with bench level testing, troubleshooting
   • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field 

Qualifications We Prefer
    • Experience with Siemen's Xpedition Design Tools
    • Understanding of IPC Standards for PCB Design and Fabrication
    • Knowledge of IEEE, MIL standards
    • Adept at using the Microsoft Tool Suite
