Senior Product Marketing Manager

Rystad Energy is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, analytical, and adaptable Marketing Manager in Oslo to join our product marketing team. The ideal candidate for this role will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan (including communications, White Papers, events, webinars, etc.) for two dedicated product suites as well as supporting a secondary, complementary product suite. You will be part of the Corporate Marketing team and work very closely with the Marketing team, the respective Product teams and other corporate teams (including commercial teams), joining meetings and aligning with framework and best practices to understand and coordinate strategies. This role is primarily non-client facing.

Key responsibilities

• Overall responsible to develop and execute Rystad Energy product marketing plans and campaigns for the designated product suite(s) and to adjust those plans by evaluating success scores
• Understand our target markets and support activity with the right content messaging, channel usage and affiliated actions, to nurture incoming leads further to qualified sales leads
• Understand the energy market and how different changes can be incorporated into your current marketing activities
• Create and support the development of product collateral, sales kits, web content, product promotions, webinars, newsletters, and social media messaging
• Create and implement product launch campaigns, and work with both product experts and regional commercial managers on the effective use of marketing assets
• Take part in product loop feedback by running surveys, interview Sales and gather feedback to input on the product roadmap
• Support competitor landscape screening
• Identify and support events (internal and external) associated with your product and region’s needs
• Previous experience with the energy sector and/or consulting industry and marketing services to energy companies preferred
• Proven track record of organizing and hosting webinars

Skills and attributes for success

• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant work experience (product marketing, product management, lead generation, sales enablement, positioning and messaging, audience marketing)
• Proven track record with product/solution launches
• The right candidate will have some work experience working with/or in product teams, being the go between product development and the market
• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, or communication
• Strategic thinker with analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (all materials in English)
• Knowledge of marketing automation software, graphic design software, basic programming and/or video editing capabilities is beneficial
• Creative Suite experience (moderate) preferred

Location

This position will be located in Oslo and report to the Head of Corporate Marketing.
