Join us in driving progress in the working world and beyond. <strong>Your journey with us </strong><br/>As a Senior Manager in the Financial Services Industry (FSI), you will be co-leading a dynamic team that draws together specialist knowledge and Financial Services Industry experience. As a team with various competencies we assess the implementation new sector regulation and help our clients cope with the many challenges their industry faces. We focus in first instance on matters related to internal controls and procedures within the financial sector industry, while taking into account operational, strategic, risk and regulatory challenges and requirements that these institutions are exposed to today. <br/>This includes areas within different departments at institutions such as Finance, Risk, Internal Audit, and Permanent Control, back and middle-offices. We support by providing assurance to our clients on (financial) closing &amp; reporting processes, data processes, capital requirements (CRD), prudential reporting flows (FINREP, COREP), capital management and ALM processes, sustainable finance, designing and implementing control environment on complex transactions and new products. <br/>With an understanding of the challenges the industry faces, you will: <br/>• Contribute to the definition and implementation of our assurance strategy towards the financial sector, by providing your insights and leading the implementation and the Go-To-Market • Lead and further develop a number of service offerings towards the industry, and collaborate within the firm and the network • Function as operational contact person for a number of clients and projects, leading the execution of engagements • Support our clients in improving their operations on multiple aspects and from different angles, working closely with other Deloitte professionals • Lead projects towards our clients in assessing the implementation procedures, processes, infrastructure and governance to efficiently comply with regulation, financial standards and business needs • Provide our clients with answers to tackle the challenges they face in complying with expectations from stakeholders such as regulators, external auditors, and internal audit • Take up responsibility in leading and training our FSI team members by serving as a career counsellor, training junior and senior consultants and providing timely and specific performance feedback • Interact with the other business units within Deloitte Belgium and the international network that focuses on FSI <br/> <strong>Lets talk about you </strong><strong><br/></strong>• Master degree in economics, commercial
