The Sr. Process Engineer will provide Process Engineering to the Global Technology Owners multidisciplinary expert team
Drive improvement of Liquid Flavors and other current TASTE technology platforms, deployment of Product Innovation and foster Innovation scouting

Your key responsibilities
- Support for Innovation deployment via pilot scale to full industrial scale with industrialization. Support NPD technology selection & process design.
- Support Project Engineering teams to implement new technology or upgrade production asset.
- Support global standardization and best practice via Global Technology Ownership. Fuels the continuous improvement of processes and technologies in the plants in terms of efficiency, yields, quality, safety and sustainability. Works closely with Engineering and Operational Excellence on initiatives.
- Support technology scouting activities including pilot assessments to determine suitability for TASTE and business potential, support market screening for emerging technologies & connects with leading industry associations and suppliers.
- Shaping Strategy: make sense of complex data, trends and dynamics on a continually evolving basis, understand and anticipate potential impact these may have, and use them to shape the direction of the business.
- Co-Owns the process engineering of the manufacturing technologies at the BU TASTE including the safe (process) design guidelines.

You bring
- Educational level: Master degree Chemical Engineering, Food Technology or equivalent (min. 5-10 years of experience). Experience in working with stakeholders in a global matrix organization.
- Extensive experience in Chemical / Food Technology and Technology scale-up.
- Experience in shopfloor practices and Process Safety. Understand business direction, strategy and business finances.
- Strong ability to drive internal stakeholders' alignment. Excellent communication and influential skills.
- Forward looking and innovation driven while ensuring adherence to the current legal, industry and customers’ requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work in teams and cross-cultural savyness
