As our Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator you manage, further develop and optimize our Learning Management System (Plusport), also called the Boskalis Academy. The platform hosts training registration, learning paths, e-learnings and other relevant information to further develop, for all employees around the world. Besides that, you are expected to assist the exploration and implementation of new learning technology and systems for the Learning and Development team and HR community.

As part of the Boskalis global Learning & Development team you are not only passionate about technology, but you are also able to understand the learner experience and translate organisational needs into tangible (technical) solutions. At all times you safeguard the dependency on the wider Boskalis IT infrastructure.

What you will you do as a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator:

• You are responsible for the LMS implementation, maintenance; configuration; analytics; reporting; documentation; user support and further integration in the Boskalis ecosystem.
• You support and advise the Boskalis Academy regional administrators and maintain our LMS work instructions.
• You keep yourself informed regarding changes to organizational and IT infrastructure and understand the impact on the LMS.
• You regularly discuss releases and test new functionalities with the LMS provider and discuss their impact with the team.
• You also bring in new ideas, experiment with the L&D team and other hr colleagues with new learning technology and inspire and anticipate on market developments.
• You actively manage the relationship with (external) solutions providers.

You can make your mark as a Learning Management System Administrator if you have:

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in positions such as (L&D) system administrator, LMS-specialist or similar.
• A completed bachelor, preferably in IT, business administration or HR..
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Proven skills in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
• Analytically strong, curious, result-oriented and pro-active.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and passionate about creative use of (innovative) technology in the development of people.
