Job Summary

**The position will be filled commensurate with the successful candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and education at either the Process Assistant I, or II level, in accordance with business needs and priorities.

 

Process Assistant I: 
Under direct supervision, this role performs routine clerical tasks that support a specific workflow or phase within a business process. Performs routine and repetitive tasks to support transaction of a part(s) of a business process. Duties include: opening and processing mail remittance, posting data, compiling records and reports in predetermined format, maintaining and preparing simple reports and charts, performing simple calculations, etc. Performs general alphabetic and numeric filing, sorting, and cross-referencing. Maintains and updates files, records, and logs according to established procedures. Ensures information and reports are complete and consistent with specific rules or procedures. This job is level I or the entry level in a three level Process Assistant series.

 

Process Assistant II: 
Under immediate supervision, this role performs a variety of routine clerical tasks that support a specific workflow or phase within a business process. Accountable for transaction of part(s) of business process. Work requires knowledge in the area of assignment as well as applicable department and company policies and procedures to accomplish the processing of information, documents or materials to include: setting up comprehensive records and files, preparing standard reports and charts, compiling data from various sources and forms, contacting other departments to obtain information and reconcile routine discrepancies, performing calculations involving complicated arithmetic, etc. Makes minor corrections, codes items, maintains record of documents processed. Informs departments of missing or incorrect data. Utilizes computer systems and/or other related equipment to record, store and retrieve information. Compiles regular and special reports using established formats and procedures. Performs basic clerical duties that are highly structured according to established procedures. This job is level II or the intermediate level in a three level Process Assistant series.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Process Assistant I: 
The knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience required for entry into this job include the following:
Basic understanding of the operation of computerized and function-related equipment to record, store and retrieve information. Ability to manage multiple activities and resources. Good oral and written communication skills. 0-2 years general office experience. Basic personal computer skills including using spreadsheet, word processing applications and SAP.

 

Process Assistant II: 
The knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience required for entry into this job include the following:
Ability to manage multiple activities and resources. Ability to manage multiple activities and resources. Strong oral and written communication skills. 2+ years general office experience. Proficient personal computer skills. Proficient skills using spreadsheet and word processing applications and SAP. Basic knowledge of company and department procedures. Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.

High School Graduate , GED
