Our Connected Aviation Solutions (CAS) group has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Hardware and Infrastructure (HW&I) Engineering team. This is an opportunity to join a team supporting the next generation Air Traffic Control (ATC) systems, as well as providing support to existing fielded systems. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience in power electronic circuits, comfortable working with commercial off-the-shelf and custom hardware designs to achieve system requirements. This opportunity requires a combination of classic design techniques, modern power electronics knowledge, and hands on laboratory skills.

What YOU will do:
Strategic Leadership in Design: Lead as our Senior Electrical Engineer to spearhead design activities and ensure hardware development aligns with project requirements.
Innovative Design Expertise: Lead the design and development of cutting-edge power system hardware, showcasing creative prowess and technical acumen.
Rigorous Testing Proficiency: Conduct meticulous lab testing, validating engineering change proposals and ensuring solution integrity through detailed verification test plans and reports.
Collaborative Leadership: Interface with diverse disciplines to foster a collaborative ecosystem driving innovation and efficiency in product development.
Education & Experience:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications you must have:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in designing, evaluating, and testing power supplies to drive innovation and excellence in our projects.
Collaborate with diverse engineering disciplines, supply chain partners, and customers to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
Ensure clear and organized technical documentation on Configuration Control, Change Management, Trade Studies, Preliminary and Detailed Design artifacts and presentations.
Dive into PCB/PWB design, crafting efficient and reliable electrical circuits.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint) to transform ideas into impactful presentations.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Skills we value:
Design experience with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) power supply devices.
Demonstrated knowledge of Linux and Solaris operating systems.
Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.
