Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently hiring for a F-15C Simulator Technician I to support the F‐15C Weapons and Tactics Trainers at the Tyndall AFB, Florida.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assists with operations, repairs, tests, installs, configures, and upgrades
- Assists in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware, and software
- Performs general inspections for pre‐operations, post‐operations, and component handling of training devices, assemblies, and components
- Inspects components and/or Line‐Replaceable Units to verify status prior to installation
- Assists engineers in troubleshooting systems and support equipment
- Troubleshoots to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components
- Assists instructors/aircrews during scheduled training missions
- Performs logistical, administrative, and other collateral duties as necessary to maintain the training devices
- Occasional travel required for urgent simulator maintenance activities and/or training opportunities
- Works under partial supervision
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc)
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance with U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain access to Special Access Program (SAP)
- Ability to obtain CompTIA Security + Certification within 90 days of start
- Ability to work a rotating shift
- Ability to climb ladders at heights up to 15 feet and stairs on a regular basis
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in related work experience
- SAP Access
- F-15 (or comparable fighter-type) flight line avionics background
- Experience in electronics, computer information systems, visual display systems, and/or simulation systems

Rotating Shifts:
- 1st shift hours: 6:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.
- 2nd shift hours: 12:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
