Senior Presales Consultant

<h2>Overview</h2> <p></p> <p> </p> <p>We are seeking our new <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Presales consultant/Senior Sales Engineer  </strong>to join the Axway team! You would be joining the Sales Team in our <strong>Dubai </strong>office and representing Axway a Global software company and market leader in governing the flows of data.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p>Axway is looking for a customer facing Pre-Sales Consultant who is motivated to help drive new business, evangelize our technology, onboard and train new customers, and establish revenue potential with existing customers. Ideally, this candidate will demonstrate a high level of technical expertise on Gateways, industry leading products and products. He will also have a proven track record of helping customers define their digital architecture to make best use of such products.</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Additional responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaboration with Axway sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions.</li> <li>Deliver solution workshops, product demonstrations, technical education, and Proof of Concepts.</li> <li>Deliver technical content for RFI/RFPs.</li> <li>Support technical escalations, designing solutions; and answer technical questions throughout the sales process in order to progress/close sales and develop customer relationships.</li> <li>Maintain an understanding of the client’s industry, including industry trends, industry business processes</li> <li>The successful candidate will be passionate about &amp; Platform Technologies (such as – Lifecycle, Microservices, B2B and File Transfer governance) and have or develop a strong understanding of Cloud, On-Premise and Hybrid environments. In addition, will work with, technical and sales, professional services, and our Business Partners ecosystem.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven relationship and organizational skills and the ability to effectively work with multiple organizations.</li> <li>Ability to understand business problems, articulate a corresponding solution based on Axway software, build a value proposition, and establish a compelling reason to act.</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively and accurately, both written and verbally</li> <li>Ability to confidently lead a discussion with a group of Product Managers, Engineers, and Executives.</li> <li>Solid understanding of cloud computing trends.</li> <li>Understanding of competitive technologies and their place in the market.</li> <li>“Better together" mentality and a sense of urgency.</li> <li>This position will support clients and partners across Italy.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Required Technical and Professional Expertise</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as Software Engineer, Pre-Sales or Technical Consulting, preferably at Enterprise Software companies.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in information technology.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Java, JavaScript, or scripting skills are highly desirable.</li> <li>Experience with K8s/Openshift.</li> <li>AI knowledge.</li> <li>Hands on familiarity with (message queues, synchronous and asynchronous communications, and transaction protocols), REST, web services technologies (SOAP, XML), and enterprise Security standards (oAuth, SAML, LDAP, SSO).</li> <li>Experience of Software Developer Life Cycle, CI/CD pipelines is a plus.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Company Overview</strong> </p> <p>At Axway, we’re more than a company—we’re a pioneer.
