Responsibilities

ByteDance's Multi-Cloud CDN, you will be responsible for the architecture design, R&D, and continuous optimization of our Multi-Cloud CDN platform. This includes developing and optimizing systems for configuration management, data analysis, content management, and scheduling. Your work will ensure efficient business access and support flexible and configurable scheduling strategies to optimize TikTok's global traffic management.

Responsibilities
1. Assist in the architecture design and development of our Multi-Cloud CDN platform.
2. Support the optimization and continuous improvement of systems for configuration management, data analysis, content management, and scheduling.
3. Participate in developing tools and solutions to enhance business access efficiency and optimize TikTok's global traffic management.
4. Collaborate with senior engineers to implement flexible and configurable scheduling strategies.
5. Contribute to the maintenance and troubleshooting of the Multi-Cloud CDN platform to ensure smooth operation.
6. Learn and apply best practices for Multi-Cloud CDN development and optimization.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, electronics and communication, mathematics, physics, or related fields.
2. Familiarity with one or two programming languages such as C/C++, Go, Python, Java, or PHP in a Linux environment.
3. Strong communication skills, execution ability, and a willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Basic technical foundation with some exposure to API/platform design and a fundamental understanding of network protocols, storage, and message queues.
2. Basic understanding of CDN working principles, with an interest in gaining experience in CDN system design and development.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $119000 - $168150 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
